| dc.description.abstract | The Oromia Region Meteorological Data System supports health surveillance by integrating real-time weather information into disease monitoring and early warning systems in Oromia Region. In collaboration with the Ethiopian Meteorology Institute, the Oromia Disaster Management Commission uses climate data to predict and respond to climate-sensitive diseases such as malaria and cholera. This strengthens preparedness, timely intervention, and protection of vulnerable communities. | |
