dc.description.abstractBurnout among healthcare professionals is a growing public health and workforce crisis in Ethiopia, particularly in the Amhara Region. Studies show that up to 60% of health workers in public hospitals experience burnout, resulting in low morale, poor quality of care, and high turnover. Although the Ministry of Health launched the national Compassionate, Respectful, and Caring (CRC/MCC) initiative, its implementation remains limited at facility level. Felege Hiwot and Addis Alem Hospitals, with low staff satisfaction and high stress levels, were selected to pilot an innovative solution to improve workforce motivation and psychosocial well-being.
